Sharon moved from Massachusetts to Maine in 1972 to attend Westbrook College. During that time she met her husband Marc and they were married in 1976. Sharon & Marc were brought up in families with summer camps so one of the very first things they did was to buy one of their own so their children could enjoy the same kind of summers they had enjoyed. The mother of three grown children who have completed college, Sharon says all three still come home almost every weekend in the summer to play on the lake. Marc has a water ski course set up across from the boat launch and every morning at 7:30 AM can be found taking a few passes before he heads off to Portland. Sharon works part time as a dental hygienist and also manages multi family housing and a cleaning company in Portland that she and Marc own. She says that now that the kids are out of the house, she has more time to get involved. After 20 + years on the lake, she feels a strong commitment to the lake and the other property owners to do her part to preserve the wonderful environment that we have here on Little Sebago. Sharon is currently involved as our Treasurer and manages the Harbormaster Program.
